We had planned a romantic dinner in Ottawa but my wife fell on her bike and we couldn't go to dinner so we decided to order in from turmeric Grove. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the food even stayed hot while I walked back to the hotel.

This is a wonderful restaurant, with excellent food and very friendly service. We've been twice, and have ordered the Uttapam, the dosas, the mango lassi, and the ras malai. The restaurant itself looks unassuming, but don't let that fool you. Each of the items we ordered was superb. I highly recommend this restaurant!

It is my second time ordering food from Turmeric Grove and I enjoyed it just as much. The flavours and quality of ingredients are great. Also timely and courteous service is a plus.

The food was ready 30 minutes later than stated. (1 hour total prep time). The lamb in the biryani was tough. I think this is because it hadn’t simmered long enough. We were disappointed.

We had dinner there tonight. The food was delicious. Try the onion baji as an appetizer, it’s crispy and excellent. The chicken tikka masala is also a must have. We’ll definitely be going back again soon.

Having spent a fair bit of time over the years in India, especially in the south, I’m particular about the quality of Indian restaurants outside of the subcontinent. Too many dull down the spices or simply offer a limited selection of the usual dishes. Not so here. The cuisine is straight out of Tamil Nadu, delicious and varied. Well worth a visit.

The curry tasted amazing, but there weren't many lamb pieces. Additionally, my order says "plain rice" next to the curry item, but it wasn't included. There were many paneer pakoras, which was nice, but I found they weren't crispy. Overall, it was a satisfactory meal.
